ACAD is a volunteer based organization and is always in need of support! You may find some of our current volunteer opportunities available below.

“Web Designer”

The Web Designer will represent ACAD’s online presence. Ideally, the volunteer web designer will provide design and current techniques and resources to capitalize ACAD’s website so as to effectively serve a wide audience. Tasks include web and graphic design, web development, routine updates and minute edits as needed. Experience with Flash is preferred.

“Resource Developer”

The role of the Resource Developer is to contribute to the direction of our programs with a particular attention to editing, fundraising, fund development, draft proposal and research. The ideal Resource Developer can support our programs with a range of activities, including collaboration strategies, partnership proposals and the development of a rich resource base.
“Literary Contributor”

The role of the Literary Contributor is to maintain and add to our growing base of literature on racism and discrimination. This volunteer opportunity includes reading and critiquing literary work so as to add these fine works onto our “Literature” section. We prefer this volunteer to have a strong grasp of modern and historical literature and a dedication to contribute to the development of these critiques.
