Each month, ACAD will feature a powerful quote that is synonymous with ACAD’s purpose of diversity and inclusion. This month we feature a quote from Bishop T.D. Jakes, a Pastor residing in the United States:

“It is possible for Americans to get a Ph.D and not know anything about a minority but minorities cannot get a GED without understanding anything about mainstream America.”

This is one of the injustices of America – a method of insubordination that refuses to let something as beautiful as culture be reciprocated.
